1943年敌后战场形势发生重大变化抗日根据地度过最困难时期并不断发展壮大我八路军逐步对日伪采取攻势作战开始局部反攻周边数座县城被解放安邱城也势如累卵旦夕可下满城日伪人心惶惶人民群众暗中拍手称快 离安邱城以东20华里左右有一个大镇子叫驴驹桥这里早先是冀中地区最大的牲口市场因此得名驴驹桥是安邱通往保定的交通要道又有平汉铁路经过属于军事重镇华北沦陷后鬼子在这里派有重兵把守归安邱管辖随着太平洋战争的爆发加之日军在中国战场上的节节失利兵源补充不上驻守驴驹桥的日伪军与其它地方一样被消灭一个少一个原来的100多鬼子和200多伪军现在只剩下不到三分之一 本剧的故事就从此时此地开始
